Social program

During the 37 years after its foundation, the mission of FCI has strongly developed and consolidated: Saving underprivileged children with congenital heart ailments.
“Give a Life” was the motto adopted to denominate the work that began as a dream in 1973. Since then nearly 11.500 children with heart malfunctions have been treated.

Due to the lack of specialized diagnostics in the Colombian Provinces and the economic difficulties of the children’s families to travel to Bogota, FCI organizad medical brigades that travel around the country performing free check ups and treatments to poor children with heart ailments.
