Marena lives with her stepfather who works as a farmer, her siblings and her mother Ludis Penaranda. A few moths ago, she was diagnosed with a heart malfunction and the local doctor advised her to take advantage of the Cardio Infantil‘s medical brigade coming to Barranquilla in June. She traveled by bus with her daughter for a check up. The team of doctors performed the necessary treatment and now Marena has a healthy heart and enjoys a normal life with her friends and siblings.
