Leidy lives with her mother and her baby brother. Ana Mercedes Gomez, her mother works several days a week as a housemaid. Her heart ailment was diagnosed when she was born, but they did not have the means to treat Leidy. When the doctors of the Fundacion Cardio Infantil travelled to Monteria in September, Leidy was one of the children that received free medical treatment and today she leads a healthy and happy life.
