Antonio lives with his mother Solfaida Guzman who is a housewife. His siblings are older and live with their own families and give them some economic support. Since his birth Antonio’s heart started failing but due to a lack of resources he could not receive medical assistance. The mother’s struggle to save Antonio’s life came to an end when the group of the Fundacion Cardio Infantil doctors travelled to Monteria in September. Antonio had the necessary medical treatment free of charge and today is a happy and healthy schoolboy.
