Angel lives with his parents and his older brother. His father is a farmer in a nearby farm. His mother Liliana Castro is a housewife. When she knew of the Cardio Infantil medical brigade’s visit to Monteria in September, she took her son for a checkup. Angel needed priority surgery so the foundation arranged for him and his mother to travel to the hospital in Bogota where he was treated free of charge. Today, Angel leads the joyful and healthy life of a 4 year old.
